Wisconsin Early Childhood Action Needed
WECAN, Wisconsin Early Childhood Action Needed, is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to increasing public investment in early childhood education. Established and led by educators, WECAN believes that those working in the field are best equipped to advocate for it.
WECAN recognizes that education begins at birth, and the organization is committed to ensuring the rest of Wisconsin understands this fundamental truth. To this end, WECAN works to build relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, including local business groups, K-12 school districts, other advocacy organizations, and governmental authorities at the local, state, and national levels.
Collaboration is at the heart of WECAN's mission. The organization invites all interested parties to join in its efforts to create a brighter future for Wisconsin's children, starting from the very beginning of their educational journeys.
