Dane County Housing Authority
Dane County Housing Authority (DCHA) was created in 1972 by the Dane County Board of Supervisors to address the affordable housing needs of low-income families in Dane County
The mission of Dane County Housing Authority is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination.
DCHA will always strive to provide and further affordable housing through our long term planning strategies, partnerships with other organizations, and utilizing bonding financing to develop and preserve affordable housing.

Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corportation’s Acquisitions & Development Team focuses on the acquisition of affordable residential properties, the development of new affordable housing, and the refinancing of properties currently within the WHPC portfolio.

Habitat for Humanity of Dane County
Habitat for Humanity (HFH) of Dane County, offers a hand up, rather than a hand out. Through their volunteer network, generous donors and sales from two Habitat ReStores, HFH is helping families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance to build a better life through shelter. In Dane County alone, one in eight people lives in poverty, including 16 percent of all Dane County children.
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit organization, based on Christian principles and dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty housing. Habitat for Humanity builds with people in need regardless of race or religion and welcomes all volunteers and supporters.
