An evening of conversations about the Wisconsin Supreme Court election

We all know the importance of the April 1 election for Wisconsin Supreme Court. That’s why Up North News wants to give you an opportunity to hear from people who can speak to some of the critical issues the court could take up—depending on whether progressives hold onto control or if conservatives take back the majority.

Former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes and state Rep. Francesca Hong are part of a panel on how the court could impact the economy and our natural resources, moderated by Dan Shafer of The Recombobulation Area and Civic Media political editor.

State Sen. Kelda Roys joins panel discussing reproductive health rights along with an obstetrician- gynecologist and a woman who shares her story of needing abortion care after a wanted pregnancy took a tragic turn.

Julie Underwood, lead plaintiff in the lawsuit challenging the voucher schools program, is part of an education panel along with folks from the Wisconsin Public Education Network and WEAC.

UpNorthNews Founding Editor Pat Kreitlow serves as a panel moderator along with Todd Allbaugh of Civic Media and Dan Shafer of The Recombobulation Area and Civic Media political editor.
